Welcome one and all, divers and non divers to The Scuba Bible, about time you dropped by, spend a while and let me know what you think.
This is my first attempt at making a one stop diving resource site. I hope to bring you lots of useful information on diving from locals whom know diving spot around their local area.
There are links to training, dive shops and dive sites, books and other useful stuff, but I take no responsibility for the accuracy of any information found on this site, or any of the links listed within this site. I hope you find it helpful and informative, but take it all with a grain of salt as nothing can take the place of Professional Training From A Certified Agency.
The information displayed here is for the purpose of helping divers stay in touch with events happening in the local dive community as well as the dive industry at large. It will also be an asset to divers visiting our area, so they can find lots of good dive sites in this area, and many local divers willing to share their knowledge of the sites.
You will find information on many local area dive sites, including directions and site conditions. If your favorite dive site is not listed here, or you have info on any site, or updates to existing sites listed you would like to share with others, send me the info and I will update the files. Anyone wishing to post an upcoming dive can e-mail me the info and I will list it ASAP.
There is a page of links to dive stores, magazines and other stuff that may be of interest to the dive community as well as links to information on different dive-related subjects.
From time to time I will be running pictures, some above and some below the waves. These will consist of local dives as well as trips to the “sunny south” and any other dive related shots. If you have any shots you would like to share, please send them along and I will try to get them posted. When everyone sees how much fun we are having, I hope they will want to jump in!
